Founded in Massachusetts (USA), Lantern is a volunteer-led, social entrepreneurship initiative currently operating in India.
Our Programs
WORKSHOPS AND RETREATS
Workshops, exploratory modules and retreats are regularly organized for both independent learners and school/college-goers. Introductory sessions and panel discussions on alternative education are also organized.

COMMUNITY LEARNING CENTER
Our community learning center is a learner-driven initiative organized by families who are unschooling, homeschooling, or interested in fostering meaningful educational experiences.
Our weekly meetings (starting this July) will serve as a platform for parents and children to connect with like-minded individuals and learn together. Each meeting contains structured and free-flow activities which students, parents and volunteers will facilitate.

A blog with resources on self-directed learning and education is under way!
One of our projects on the blog is to document unique educational platforms and alternative education environments across USA and India.
